Office Policies

Sick Appointments: Please call to schedule an appointment. We will try to see your child the same day you call our office. If no appointments are available for that day and your child is sick, we will make every effort for your child to be seen as soon as possible.

Questions: You may call our office Monday thru Friday for any questions regarding your child. If you leave a message on the voicemail your call will be returned that same day.

After Hour Calls: Cleburne Pediatrics is on call 24 hours a day for our patients. If a true emergency exists call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room for further care. If you wish to consult Dr. Sharma after office hours about your sick child, please call the office phone number and leave a voicemail for him to call you back.

Promptness and Late Policy: Cleburne Pediatrics makes every effort to see your child promptly and limit your wait time.
If you know you will be late for an appointment, please let the office know before your arrival. This helps with scheduling
other appointments. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, you will be seen as a work in or you
may be asked to reschedule your appointment.

Payment: Payment is due at the time of service. As a courtesy, Cleburne Pediatrics will file your health insurance claim. Any copay, deductible or co-insurance must be paid before your visit. We accept cash, check, visa and mastercard
|
Medication Policy: We do NOT prescribe antibiotics over the phone. We prefer the patient be seen by the physician to diagnose his/her illness and then be treated with the appropriate medications.

Refills: We can call in prescriptions five days a week during regular office hours. Cleburne Pediatrics does NOT call in prescriptions after hours or on weekends. Cleburne Pediatrics does NOT call in prescriptions out of state.

No Show Policy: Effective March 1, 2012 If you make an appointment with our office and fail to keep your appointment or call to cancel the appointment, there will be a $15.00 fee. This fee must be paid before the patient is seen for another office visit.

Credit Card Fee Notice: Effective january 1,2019 there will be a convenience fee on all credit card transactions, which is not greater than our cost of acceptance. There is no convenience fee for debit cards.
